Street Art Studio
had a fantastic time at a Summer Fun Day in July, held at Crabble Athletic Ground in Dover.
We had half a marquee to spread out in, so we set up our easels & boards and had a queue before we'd even started!
We were rammed for about 5 hours, with young people coming back again and again to try different techniques and new pieces. We could hardly keep up with the demand but everyone got their pieces done with as much help as they wanted or needed.

Some of you guys were amazing! Lewis, from River, did some great work (above) and Kieran obviously had an eye for graff even though he'd never had a go before, as you can see below. If you look at the pieces on the floor at the bottom right hand side of Kieran's pic, you'll see Lewis's piece with his initials LC.

Some people think that graff is a boy's thing but there were a LOT of girls coming along to spray their art out.
The one above is by Gabriella, and Becky from St Margarets did a fantastic piece with paint and markers, below.

We even got some of the grown-ups having a go, once they'd got enough courage to step forward! It's a great feeling, being able to fill a big board with whatever is in your head, creating the layers and colours.
Were you there? Is it your piece we're telling people about? Send us a picture and we'll publish it!

Remember that graff'ing on someone else's property is illegal - just don't do it
