We've been working with young people at Artwise in Ramsgate recently.
All the young people who had a go at street art with us wore protective gear - masks for everyone, gloves and aprons for those who wanted them. These are supplied as part of the Street Art Studio package.
Here's some of their work - remember it's all produced in a safe and legal environment:
The one above is by Jordan, using spray paint.
This one's by Martin, one of our writers. He got the dots by holding the back of the cap down so the paint comes out in spots.
This one above is by Martin as well. He's used shading to build the layers of colour on the left hand side of the character's face.
This one is by one of our writers, Greg, just a quick piece at the end of the session by special request of one of the leaders!
This one's by Karl.
This one's by Jon, it's come out a bit orange on here and this pic is nowhere near as good as the piece itself!
Here's another one by Greg, one of our writers. This piece is 8 feet long, spread over 2 boards. He's used accessories like the circles and stitchmarks to pull it together.
This one's by Vicky. She put the background colours of red and orange on first, and then used a white for the middle, with the drips as an accessory She then painted the dark symbol shapes and highlighted them with the yellow.
Another one of Greg's. He's tipped the letters in opposite directions to give it some movement and used shading around the edges of the letters.
Here's Erin's first go - pretty good for a complete beginner!
This one's really different, you can just see the remains of a stencil underneath the art on top. Not sure who this is by - soz!
This last one is by Martin, great shading and building.
There are more pieces to follow from the Artwise camera so if yours isn't on here, keep checking.
